一部に差替パーツを使用することで変形シークエンスを簡略化する「差替三段変形（ショートカットチェンジ）」を採用。HGシリーズならではの組み立てやすさと広い可動域、各形態の洗練されたフォルムを実現。
ファイターモード時の前進翼の曲線美やガウォークモード時の特徴的なシルエットも忠実に再現。バトロイドモードは劇中を意識したスマートなボディラインを表現。
肩を引き出し式にすることで腕部の可動域を拡大。
胸部に３軸可動を内蔵することで、前後左右への広域な可動を実現。
肩・脚部のミサイルハッチは展開が可能。シールドには劇中同様ナイフを格納できる。
フォールドクォーツやキャノピー等の表現にこだわり、光の当たり方で変化する「偏光成形」を計３色使用。
